Hello Third Grader!
My name is Ms. Peternell – I will be your third grade teacher. This will be my second year teaching third grade at Mitchell School, but hopefully you have seen me around the building as I have been working here for the past four years. Before working in Kittery, I taught third grade in Kennebunk.
I hope you have been having a super summer! I have been enjoying my vacation with my husband and my two daughters. We have spent many days at the beach and out on our boat. I am always on the lookout for seals in the river or a bald eagle flying overhead! I also love searching for sea glass in the rocks on Wood Island.
My other favorite summer activity is reading!! I have a long list of books that my friends have recommended for me. I love going to the Rice Public Library and getting out just the right book, don’t you?!
